Great To-Do List/Priorities Management Software
I've been playing with John Wood's Priorganizer for about the past month (they have a free trial here) and I finally purchased it this morning. I used to use the old Time Tracker/Issue Tracker ASP.NET starter application. It worked for a while and, since it was free, it was surely better than the $100+ defect management/Priorty list management software. The problem was that I spent so much time customizing it so that it fit my needs that I probably lost as much time with it as I gained hehe. I finally quit it about six months ago and then started using the ubiquitous text file with headers for TOP PRIORITY, MEDIUM, and LOW hehe. That's classy, eh?
Anyway, if you're looking for a "To Do" list manager or even a basic bug tracker, you can use Prioganizer for just $29. I thought it was a great deal that I'd pass along.
Oh, I would be remiss if I didn't also mention "On Time 2006" from http://axosoft.com/. This is truly amazing bug tracking software - it's not built for To Do list management or anything. It runs off SQL Server but, if you want it for an entire team, it's $500+. However, they have a FREE version - a fully functioning, self-installing-on-your-SQL-Server, version - so I highly recommend it. I've been using it here for defects and I find it easy enough to use. It's a bit complex but it gives you a ton of flexibility and reporting.
The free edition is called the "OnTime 2006 Small Team Edition" and you can download a WinForm version or an entire ASP.NET site.
