Miscellaneous Bits & Pieces:
Performance Tip: Don't apply the "Auto Shrink" database option for a production database. Auto Shrink is very expensive and can negatively impact the performance of your live system
Performance Monitor (also called System Monitor and perfmon) is a great tool used to track various processes on the system and to give an ad-hoc display of the current state of the system. Perfmon is a very flexible tool allowing you to monitor memory, CPU, hard drive statistics as well as individual application statistics like how much memory your SQL Server is using.
Many people get confused about licensing for their SQL Server when their SQL Server is used for the company website. Bottom line: buying one license for your SQL Server because the web server is only one user is not sufficient. Microsoft requires that each connection that takes advantage of the data from your SQL Server be licensed.
