Views are one of the most common SQL object types and are also part of the SQL standard. Knowing (a) what views are, (b) how to use them, and (c) when to use them is vital for anyone who wants to work with any relational database (SQL Server included).
This series of videos focuses on everything you need to understand the concepts of what views are, the syntax and tools you can use to create/alter/drop views, and even how to update data in the underlying tables using the view.

Miscellaneous Bits & Pieces:
To turn off the system databases and objects inside Enterprise Manager edit the registration by right-clicking the server name and choosing "Edit SQL Server Registration Properties". Uncheck the box at the bottom next to "Show system databases and objects"
Many people get confused about licensing for their SQL Server when their SQL Server is used for the company website. Bottom line: buying one license for your SQL Server because the web server is only one user is not sufficient. Microsoft requires that each connection that takes advantage of the data from your SQL Server be licensed.
If you see a file/folder that is blue in color in Windows Explorer that is an indication that the file is compressed
